One in two men and one in three women will develop some form of cancer
in their lifetime. According to the National Cancer Institute, it is
estimated that 182,460 women will be diagnosed with and 40,480 women
will die of breast cancer in 2008. Our honorees are two leading oncologists,
specializing in prevention and detection of cancer. Join us to learn
how health care disparities impact outcomes for women and minorities,
and how new innovations are making a difference in patients’ lives.
